Research Interest:

Dr Srivastava is a passionate researcher with a strong interest in carrying out research work in the area of material science with a special emphasis on developing novel nanostructured magnetic materials. Over the past 21 years, he gained adequate experience in the area of thin films of Magnetic Multilayers, Alloys, Spin Valve structures, and oxides intended for a wide range of applications. He received five sponsored research projects from funding agencies like DST-SERB, CSIR, and UGC-DAE-CSR. He has already supervised 8 PhD students and eight master's theses. He published his research work in 84 journals (mostly Q1 and Q2) and in 03 Book chapters. He has delivered more than 15 invited talks at national and international conferences in India and abroad. He is the recipient of the prestigious “Early Career Research Award 2016” and "Emerging Researcher Award 2019". Additionally, he has been included among the "World's Top 2% Scientists" in 2024 and 2025. Dr. Srivastava is serving as an Editorial Board Member of journals such as 'Scientific Reports, Discover Materials, and Frontiers in Physics.
